{"id":17534,"date":"2026-03-18T17:00:47","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T17:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cuscodigital.com\/machupicchuagency\/?page_id=17534"},"modified":"2026-04-10T04:59:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T04:59:15","slug":"esnna-code-of-conduct-and-our-commitment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/machupicchuperuagency.com\/en\/esnna-code-of-conduct-and-our-commitment\/","title":{"rendered":"ESNNA Code of Conduct and our Commitment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>CODE OF CONDUCT AGAINST CSEC (ESNNA)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The ESNNA Program and Our Commitment<\/strong> Under Law No. 28251, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has established a policy against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (<strong>ESNNA<\/strong> in Spanish \/ <strong>CSEC<\/strong> in English). Consequently, the ESNNA code and <strong>MACHUPICCHU PERU AGENCY E.I.R.L.<\/strong> have an agreement for joint actions to prevent and eradicate this issue. Therefore, we declare that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We reject the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (<strong>ESNNA\/CSEC<\/strong>) in Peru and worldwide, in general, and particularly in its modality associated with travel and tourism, as it is a conduct that violates the fundamental rights of individuals and is contrary to the intrinsic objectives of tourism activity in our country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We denounce and condemn those who use tourism activities, facilities, and services to promote, facilitate, or tolerate the occurrence of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In virtue of the above, <strong>\u201cMachupicchu Peru Agency E.I.R.L.\u201d<\/strong> signs this Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in the Tourism sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This Code is a formal declaration of free adherence intended to establish standards of conduct for all personnel working at <strong>MACHUPICCHU PERU AGENCY E.I.R.L.<\/strong>, aimed at protecting children and adolescents from all forms of sexual exploitation and human trafficking associated with travel and tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the members of this Company, in order to take the necessary measures to protect children and adolescents against sexual exploitation, commit to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintaining an ethical policy of rejection toward the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the context of travel and tourism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Informing and training staff on the company&#8217;s policy regarding the prevention of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism and travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Displaying visible symbols that alert clients and suppliers about our position regarding the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism and travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Including a clause in contracts with tourism service providers declaring a shared rejection of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
