CODE OF CONDUCT AGAINST CSEC (ESNNA)

The ESNNA Program and Our Commitment Under Law No. 28251, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has established a policy against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA in Spanish / CSEC in English). Consequently, the ESNNA code and MACHUPICCHU PERU AGENCY E.I.R.L. have an agreement for joint actions to prevent and eradicate this issue. Therefore, we declare that:

  • We reject the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA/CSEC) in Peru and worldwide, in general, and particularly in its modality associated with travel and tourism, as it is a conduct that violates the fundamental rights of individuals and is contrary to the intrinsic objectives of tourism activity in our country.
  • We denounce and condemn those who use tourism activities, facilities, and services to promote, facilitate, or tolerate the occurrence of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
  • In virtue of the above, “Machupicchu Peru Agency E.I.R.L.” signs this Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in the Tourism sector.
