Itinerary

DAY 1: AIRPORT ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR

Our service begins with a warm welcome at the airport, where our staff will be waiting to assist you and transfer you to your selected hotel in Cusco. Upon arrival, you can acclimatize by enjoying a traditional coca tea, a stimulating infusion ideal for adjusting to the city’s altitude. You will also receive an informative briefing about the details of your travel package, ensuring a smooth and organized experience.
Around 11:00 am or 2:00 pm (depending on your chosen time), we will begin our City Tour, exploring the rich history and culture of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. We will visit Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, one of the most impressive structures of Inca and colonial architecture. Afterward, we will head to the outskirts of the city to discover Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Pucapucara.
At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco, where you can continue exploring the city or rest up for the next stage of your adventure.

DAY 2: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY (CHINCHERO, MORAY, SALT MINES, URUBAMBA AND OLLANTAYTAMBO) – AGUAS CALIENTES

At 7:30 am, we’ll begin our adventure with a pick-up from your hotel, immersing ourselves in the history and culture of the Sacred Valley.

Our first stop will be in Chinchero, where we’ll explore its vibrant artisan market and discover the ancient technique of Andean weaving. Next, we’ll visit Moray, an amazing Inca agricultural laboratory with circular terraces designed for the study of microclimates. We’ll continue to the Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular landscape of over 3,000 salt ponds that have been exploited since pre-Inca times.
At midday, we’ll travel to Urubamba, where we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch surrounded by the valley’s breathtaking beauty. Afterward, we’ll make a brief stop at a panoramic viewpoint before arriving in Ollantaytambo, an archaeological gem where we’ll explore the Temple of the Sun and its impressive terraces.
Then we’ll board our train to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll take you to your hotel so you can relax and unwind. If you wish, you can optionally enjoy the medicinal thermal baths for an additional cost of S/10.00 soles, a perfect experience to revitalize yourself before the magical adventure that awaits you the next day: the exploration of the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu.

DÍA 3: MACHUPICCHU – RETORNO A CUSCO

Continuing your journey, early in the morning, we will transfer you to the bus station to begin the exciting ascent to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes and will lead you to the majestic Inca citadel.
Once there, an expert guide will take you on a tour of approximately 3 hours, where you will discover fascinating aspects of the Cusco (Inca) culture and the ingenuity behind its impressive stone constructions. You will marvel at unique buildings, full of mystery and energy. The citadel features both agricultural and urban areas, including plazas, temples, pathways, staircases, terraces, and aqueducts, all supported by stone retaining walls. Machu Picchu is a true feat of architecture and engineering, and it is no wonder that it is considered one of the 7 wonders of the world.
At the end of your tour, we will return by bus to the charming town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch.
